The 2011 Confirmation Class at Wesley is beginning on March 13. If you have a child age 12 or older that is interested in being a part of the 2011 Confirmation Class, please contact Sondra Johnson or the church office.
A lot is going on in the life of our Children & Youth. Reflecting God’s love, we give the children a Christian education, lead them to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and encourage them to grow in Christian faith.
The Children’s Ministry grooms children for Christian service by encouraging participation in all areas of the church including – Church School, Choir, and Acolytes. Children’s Church is scheduled every 2nd and 4th Sunday. Our Children’s Ministry includes children ages 5-12.
The Youth Ministry seeks to develop the spiritual conscientious of members transitioning from childhood to young adults. Activities are designed to minister to the specific needs of young adults in order to help them understand the responsibility of making choices and the consequences of their actions. The Youth Ministry includes children ages 13-17.

Youth Usher Board
Ushers are an integral part of welcoming others into our church home. Ushers assist with seating, distributing service bulletins, and assisting with traffic flow for communion. Youth Ushers serve on First and Third Sundays. Those interested in serving on the Youth Usher Board may Ed Roby.
Acolytes
Wesley Acolytes wear special robes and assist with lighting the altar candles, which symbolizes the presence of Jesus Christ entering into the worshiping community. To learn more about becoming involved in the acolyte program, please contact Roslynn Hopkins.
Nursery
Wesley’s Nursery Ministry is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where your children, ages 6 months through age 5, can have fun and feel loved as we teach them Bible stories and guide them in their spiritual growth.

Children & Youth Choir
The Wesley Children & Youth Choir sings each 2nd and 5th Sunday and at church and community events as requested. Rehearsals are held on Saturdays and as needed for special events. For additional information, contact Janice Jean or Sondra Johnson.
Children & Youth Praise Dance
The Praise Dance Ministry ministers to the body of Christ through movement and creative expressions of praise, worship, and prayer. This ministry ministers in our own church services, in other churches, and throughout the community. All age 5 and up are welcome to participate.
