Psalm 92:1-6

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to your name, O Most High;
to declare your steadfast love in the morning, and your faithfulness by night,
to the music of the lute and the harp, to the melody of the lyre.
For you, O Lord, have made me glad by your work; at the works of your hands I sing for joy.
How great are your works, O LordYour thoughts are very deep!
The dullard cannot know, the stupid cannot understand this:

Benefits of Giving Thanks
1 – It Refocuses Our Attention
When we being the morning with praise, our focus shifts from the pressures and burdens of the day to the Lord, His Goodness & His Love. And instead of crawling into bed with our burdens. Thanksgiving gives us peace of mind.
2 – Gratitude Releases Us From Anxiety
Philippians 4:6-7 When we bring God our burdens, his peace will guard our hearts and minds.
3 – Thanksgiving Reinforces Our Faith
As we look back and realize His faithfulness in our lives, our faithfulness grows. He is the same God yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
1 John 5:14-16
4 – Praising & Thanking The Lord Refreshes Our Relationship With Him
When we give Him the praise our relationship deepens & matures. We will come away refreshed.
If we hope to maintain a grateful spirit, we must find a consistent motivation. The only consistent factor is the Lord.
