The Children & Youth in collaboration with The United Methodist Men and Young & Saved Ministry purchased and collected over 600 items to fill 40 bags with necessities for teens entering foster care.  The bags were provided to Giocosa, and included hair care products specific to African American hair care needs.

Giocosa was founded in 1988, and is focused on a commitment to matching foster children with loving and nurturing families. Giocosa receives foster child referrals from the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services, Texas Juvenile Justice Department, and Our Community-Our Kids.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this outreach project!
